“Footloose” is one of the most successful dance films of all time and has captured audiences’ hearts as a musical too. Now the production is returning to Switzerland from London’s West End and bringing the classic songs “Holding Out For A Hero”, “Almost Paradise”, “Let’s Hear It For The Boy” and of course “Footloose” back to the stage. The musical tells the story of the dance-loving teenager Ren MacCormack, who moves to the southern town of Bomont, where loud music and public dancing are prohibited for minors. Ren MacCormack is looking for allies and plans to circumvent these regulations with a big party. “Footloose” was the blockbuster movie of 1984. The songs stayed at the top of the charts for months and still make for a thrilling musical soundtrack today.
